Hello I'm having a hard time installing Maya or 3DS Max.
First i was having an error 1603 and I tried few different way to solve but I could't. I tried everything I found.
I follow up the steps posted in the forums to solve this issue (like deleting the folders from programData, user/Local, etc) and as my last option I entered in the directory register (regedit) and delete all files that had the word "autodesk" on it.
Now the installation does not stop in the 50% with the 1603 error, just in the 1% stop with the error 1612.
Also I tried to install the AdSSO and it cant, show and error too.
I even tried to enter as a Super Admin but It didn't do anything.
Please I need help with this.
I attached pictures and log files.

Hello @Anonymous,
A 1612 error indicates that a required file(.msi) for installation is not available.
It is recommended that you conduct a Clean Uninstall of the previous installation & use the MSfixitTool to complete it.
Then try the installation again using the Browser Download Method in your Autodesk Account.

Hi natasha,
thank you for your response and sorry for my delayed reply,
I have been using 3ds max 2020 since then, busy studying and using it in projects,
I tried so many times before installing the 2020 version to perform a clean uninstall with all those steps that you told me. But still I was unable to install the 2021 version.
If I perform a clean uninstall now would that affect my current version installed (2020)?
I frightened that if I uninstall 3ds max 2020 and do all those steps again I could not able to install it back or 2021 version.
Maybe a way to fix this issue is installing a .reg that could fix or say that "I uninstalled everything goood and is good to go"....idk
is the only way I could think at this moment, because I deleted all the registers related 2021 version before.
Also the AdSSo couldn't complete becuase it ask me for a CD_ROM....?
Thank you,
