Can I install AutoCAD Electrical 2024 and AutoCAD Plant 3D 2024 on the same computer?

I have and now ACADE doesn't open and neither does P3D.

Support gave me these instructions:
https://up1.autodesk.com/2024/ACAD_E/C32924F6-8953-362E-BAAC-30FE658824F6//AutoCAD_Electrical_2024.0...

Download and install both of them.

That did not work.
I can try uninstalling and reinstalling, but I don't want to waste the time if it's not going to work.
Thanks

I would say yes because they are two different installs. Although Civil 3D runs on AutoCAD, I've had a separate install of AutoCAD and Civil 3D installed at the same time.

After installing AutoCAD Plant 3D 2024, I tried to open it. FATAL ERROR.

Now, when I try to open AutoCAD Electrical 2024, I get a FATAL ERROR as well.

When I installed P3D, it updated shared files in the following location:
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2024
I'm not certain if that is the issue, just what I noticed, but it updated dozens of files.

It should work. Trying to get it to work shouldn't be a waste of time. Go ahead and reinstall. Do one and test. If it works, restart computer and install the other.

Hi @Dean_Cummings

Please me sure all of the updates are installed for AutoCAD and then ACADE and ACAD Plant 3D.

I'd then look at your Video card and driver too. Make sure you're using a Certified Card and Driver

Keep us posted.

After I uninstalled P3D & ACADE, I then reinstalled them. Now they both work just fine. I did not take nearly as long as I expected.
Thanks everyone for the help!
