BDSP Deployment Creation Error 2203

I recently downloaded and attempted to create ANY deployment several times.

I am consistantly getting an error code 2203.

Nothing has changed with permission on our office network,

so why is this error consistantly happening?

Also, the log file consistantly ends with something called STEEL.

I tried using installations downloaded from both the downloader & the browser downloader,

but I keep getting the same ultimate resulting crash in the deployment creation process.

My IT Tech. verified that all of the requisite network permissions are correct.

So, Is there a bug in the file I am downloading ? or something else.

I am able to do a straight-forward install without creating a deployment,

but I am trying to create a deployment for consistancy!

Can you try to shorten your path on the network. May be you exceed the max path length on your network server during the creation of the deployment.

Try something like:

\\MEPC-DATA01\BDSP2016\

Just to exclude this as error.

I will relay that to my IT tech, and let you know what happens.

Hi @adauginas

Did you disable your Anti Virus or are your permissions right? Please check out the following KB article... http://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Deployment-creation-fails...

I'm having the same issue

I tried creating the deployment in a different location on the network and it actually deployed.

last year I have an issue installing Revit on several machines because they did not have Windows 7 SP1.

the network resource that i'm trying to deploy to is hosted on a server that has windows 2003 server as the operating system, could this be the issue?
