We are looking to programmatically automate the process of applying and removing licenses to accounts for various products, as much as possible. At the moment, many of our products are managed through custom onboard/offboard scripts.
I am looking for one of two things towards this goal: 1. Natural LDAP Integration, aka tying licensing to a security group, OR 2. API’s that can be utilized by the script to apply and remove licensing to accounts as we see fit. At the moment, Autodesk licensing is a manual process. We want to know what options are available for programmatic interactivity with this system.
What kind of automation do you have available? LDAP? Azure AD / AWS? Any API’s that can be used?

- Create an account.
- Give a license to that account.
We have all of our licenses purchased, but we have to make these user accounts on your portal ourselves. We have to apply licenses to accounts we create ourselves. When someone leaves the company, we have to take away these licenses ourselves. We want this automated. We will build the system to automate it, whether you have any kind of LDAP integration or cloud-based account integration with Azure or AWS. OR if you have API’s. We want to make scripts to do this, which means we need something that can be interacted with a computer.
