Autodesk Software License Review

Good Morning Dear Autodesk Team,

I have been contacted around a month ago from Autodesk mentioning about a software license review of our Organization. The gentleman told us to execute an application called 'Scanwin' inorder to scan our entire active directory for all the Autodesk software installed. As the email and communication seemed to be genuine, we ran the application. Now our question is that is this review a genuinely conducted process by Autodesk? Was it safe to run the 'Scanwin' application in our network?
