Autodesk Network License Manager (11.13.1.2)

I am new in Autodesk Network License Manager.

 

I installed it in my Win2016 Server.

 

I ran the LMTOOLS and do necesary setup (the path and copy back the old license file to new server)

 

then I "Start Server" and see this

 

VD is starting, please check vendor daemon's status in debug log in the bottom of the LMTOOLS

 

Then I check the Service in Windows. The required service "Flexlm Service" is not Running.

 

From Window event log. I got this

Please provide your debug log file as specified in your config service tab of your license manager.

 

Update:  One more thing..  Go to your Server and under services make sure the FlexLM license service is running or that its set to Automatic (and started).

thanks for your help first.

 

I tried to find the debug.log but failed. It is not in my server.

Do I need to set a path to let it create the debug.log?   I tried to click "View log" but nothing show.

 

The Service was created in Window. (with auto run). I tried to execute it manually but return of failure (Error log was attached in the 1st mail)

 

Please advise what can I do.  Thanks

You need to define a license manager log file in that config service tab.  You have nothing now.  I don't need that log you originally provided.  I assume your license manager is still not running?

Sorry for my late reply and thanks for your help first.

 

Can I use the same licenses key for those old and new license server?

 

I faced this problem before:

 

old server, running without problem.

when configuring new server with same license key, the old server license manager stopped.

 

I am not sure is it a single issue. But I want to know first. 

 

And server down time was approved, so  I will try to add the path in weekend.  Thanks first

The License is bounded with Mac address of the server. If you have changed the server, You need to acquire the new license file for this new server. This can be done from Autodesk Virtual Agent (AVA).
