Hi,
I am not student for 3 years, but previously I used 3ds max to learning. Now I would like to start learning Autodesk Maya. I have read terms for education licence, but it would be nice if you confirm my assumptions.
If I want to learn Maya at home (build portfolio), can I use edu licence or have to buy stand-alone licence?
Thank you in advance for help.
Regards,
Jakub

As long as you're not "selling" or doing paid work for your portfolio you should be fine.
I've seen a lot of people make up files / renderings etc with their educational ...
The main thing is not to be getting paid or doing anything commercial
NOTE!!!!
It’s not allowed unless you are a student attending a qualified Educational institution. If you're not longer attending school, then no , that would be a violation.
