Autodesk CFD licensing issues

Below is a description and screenshots of our issue. Furthermore the issue also applies to CFD 2021 for all our users. We have not yet been able to use CFD 2021. Also using a remote solver regardless of the version, does not work which we assume is also related to the licensing issue described below.

Whenever User A open Autodesk CFD 2019 and is assigned a SCFDA_2019_0F license.

User A is unable to solve and the following error message appears:

User B opens Autodesk CFD 2019 and is assigned a SCDSE_2019_0F license.

User B is able to open both the user interface application and solve.

Both users has the same folders in the CLM\LGS folder.

Both users has the same configuration files in the 810K1_2019.0.0.F folder (CFD Premium productcode) and 812K1_2019.0.0.F (Design Study Environment productcode)

Both users are running the exacts same version of CFD 2019

Hello @Anonymous, 

I wanted to reach out to see if you still need assistance with your network license of CFD 2019. 

I have listed some of the common causes associated with this error message:

• Appropriate level of the solver license is not found.
• There is no solver license.
• Not enough license seats available.
• Borrowed license not recognized due to changes in VPN connection protocol.
• ​The license manager has been assigned a port and the licpath.lic on the workstation has not been updated to that same port.
• The licpath.lic file is pointing to the wrong network license server or port.
• CFD Sever permissions; this service checks out the license but runs on the system account, not the user account.
• Corrupt installation.
• Older version of the Flexlm Network License Manager.
• Other.

To run a simulation, both a User Interface license (Design Study Environment) and solver license (CFD, CFD Advanced, CFD Motion, Ultimate, Premium) are needed.

To resolve this issue follow the steps outlined in this article, " The (motion) solver license could not be checked out from the license server" in Autodesk CFD".
