Autodesk Education chat has referred me here advising this is the place the place to get technical assistance, if there is a more suitable escalation path please let me know.
Symptoms are identical and well documented by the below post, please review their screenshots.
Context
We are transitioning 200+ sites that used to be managed under Autodesk central licenses for each product to having to request and manage their own education licenses. In December we ran a pilot program with 10 sites with no issues activating Autocad, Inventor, Revit licenses etc, 2 months later with the rollout it looks like all sites are getting stuck at that same white page as mention. Note: The script errors were always present and you would sometimes see 903 or timeouts but re-trying got the page to load.
Powershell command used to license the product (Works with no issue, only issue is the initial activation)
- "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\AdskLicensing\Current\helper\AdskLicensingInstHelper.exe" register --prod_key $SpecifiedProdKey --prod_ver $ProdVer --config_file $pit --eula_locale 'aus' --lic_method 'standalone' --from_deployment --serial_number $schoolLicence
What's change on our side: (Nothing)
- No Group policy changes to IE
- Machines where activation previously worked no longer work as well. (Uninstalled and tested with an un-activated license)
- Same install files (We deploy our software via SCCM and the install files are from 30/11/2020)
What's been tested
- Personal machine - Works
- Department machine (Our image)
--- Windows version 1809 - White screen
--- Windows version 1709 - White screen
--- Fresh Windows 1709 machine before joining to our AD (So no Group policy) - White screen
- Off our network on a departmental white screen - white screen
- Right click on the white page > Properties > shows the page is loading https://accounts.autodesk.com/logon? > Checked a wireshark to confirm nothing funky like Http 500's on Autodesk side
- If you use an invalid serial the page prompts to enter a serial, once you correct it - White screen

If anyone can provide some advice or a possible workaround that does not rely on the use of a personal device that would be appreciated.

Out current workaround.
1. Run the program first and exit the script page
2. Go to https://registeronce.autodesk.com/prodreg?_ga=2.194189672.457568791.1612826709-668780743.1612826709
3. Log in with your Autodesk account
4. Enter your serial number
5. When you get to the Enter Product Request Code prompt go to C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\AdskLicensingService\Log
6. Open the ACD2021en_USRegInfo.html (for autocad 2021) and copy the Request code into the web page (as one line with single spaces)
