Autodesk accusing us of over usage of our subscription

We have one account with two subscriptions - one for the full version and one for LT.  We have one PC with the full version installed and one PC with 2024LT installed.  We have recently received an email and phone calls from an Autodesk employee stating that we have overused our full licence subscription by having 2PCs using it.  This is simply not possible as it is only installed on one PC - we have explained this three times but they are insisting that we must pay for another full subscription.  We have asked for this to be escalated to a manager as the person we are dealing with simply does not seem to understand that we only have 2x PCs and the full version is only installed on one of them!!  Is anyone else having this problem currently and any suggestions as it is causing a lot of unnecessary stress and aggravation.  They simply will not listen to reason - how can it possibly be being used on two machines when it is physically only installed on one!

Your choice of one account/ one user / one log-in for two different software on two PCs may be what is tripping you up, or confusing them. But then again they use logins to see what is being activated and used too. Did you actively double-check each PC for only one software packages each with a full audit?

In the meantime... what's the email address the email (or contact's full credentials from call) is coming from? Then check linked in for that employee(s), they are all listed.

You can also reach out to a reseller to validate your licenses/subscriptions independently

We only have 2 PCs and only one of them has email on it - so hence only one login.  The person I spoke to said that would make no difference.  According to them we have used 15x days where we have used the subscription incorrectly and for this we have to pay £7546.50!  A three year subscription and a 'fine' of £1741.50 - we currently buy a years full subscription at £1800 and LT at £444 - we have no use for two full subscriptions - hence why we didn't buy two.  They are being extremely heavy handed about this when we have done nothing wrong.  We have no knowledge how this could happen - we are buying two subscriptions legitimately and are using those two subscriptions correctly :cara_de_decepción:

Sadly @infoAGWVB like all of us would do with our own intellectual properties, they are very aggressive at correcting what they see as a wrongful use.

I recommend you all engage with legal counsel and get all of your records, sales receipts, feedback from an Autodesk reseller as to what they see as your licenses plus PC histories of usage (and I'd find out if you have a 3rd PC out there you yourself may not be aware of?) with an IT person well documented and ask to handle it all through that method.

They will prevail more often than not if you do nothing at all. It's all very legal and above board. Sorry.
