Autodesk 2007 Viz Student Edition

Hi there all, I am purchasing a product on eBay by the name of Autodesk Viz 2007 for students. The seller says he may not have a serial key available, is there any steps I can take to get the serial key here before I go ahead and purchase the product?

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

Don't purchase it...    That version, students had to pay for their license at a reduce cost.   They are not allowed to sell it and all of you files will be marked with an educational stamp that could lead you into getting fined.   Update:  Overseas the rules are a little more relax but stay away from this unless you just want to flush money down the drain.

In addition as of Aug 31 2019, product version of 2010 and earlier can not longer be activated..  At this point you would be purchasing a paper weight...

would this make sense at all if you could do this?

if you were able to do this why would you be paying the seller

If you are a student attending a qualifying institution, you are eligible for a free student license.

If you are not a student, you should not be using a student version of the software.

I'm 99% sure it is not legal for the seller to try and sell this license, especially seeing as it can no longer be activated:
