AutoCAD LT- Perpetual License question

Not applicable
Hello, I am a designer at a construction company and would like to purchase the Perpetual License for AutoCAD LT. I have a few questions though. How does the Perpetual License work? I am using an older laptop that is only compatible for AutoCAD LT 2014, and so I was wondering if I do purchase that license, would I be able to use the AutoCAD LT Perpetual License on my laptop even though there is a newer version (2015)? Also, if I were to get a desktop in the future, would I be able to use that same license on the desktop or I can only use that license on the laptop where it was originally installed? I hope I was clear, if not, please let me know and let me know if you have questions. I am currently using the trial version and it will be ending soon. Thank you so much for your time and help, Robert

The perpetual license is basically a permanent license and should remain valid so long as the computer systems and OS supports it.  You will always own the license and it will never expire, which means you can transfer the license to a new computer.  If you add Subscription, you willl continue to get the latest versions so long as you maintain Subscription.  If you let Subscription lapse, your permanent perpetual license will be the last version that you activated and registered.

Hope that helps.
