AutoCAD LT for Mac 2017 free trail fails to install and fails to start

I'm trying to install the AutoCAD LT 2017 for Mac free trail and the installation fails with the message:

"The installation failed. The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."

I can see the app in the Applications folder. When I start it I get the initial splash screen but then the application fails.

Hi,

Try to Clean Uninstall AutoCAD :

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticle...

Than install it again.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it but I'm still getting the same error message at the end of the install and the application still fails to launch.

Hi @sean.hamilton,

Could you please find the install log and send to me via email: wei.ma@autodesk.com?

open console.app > select /var/log on the left navigation list, select install.log in the main window, and right click it > select Find in Finder.
