Hi,
I have a AutoCAD 2011 sit in my computer. Currently, I am taking an interior design course, and given a free education trial version of AutoCAD 2016. However, my computer cant run the 2016 version. May I know what should I do? Do I need to remove the 2011 version on able to install the 2016 version? Please advise. THanks. Sally

Sally,
most probably your Windows version is out of date (as in not supported by 2016) like Windows XP or Vista.
Both versions are not interfering with each other.
Can you give us a screenshot from the message you get when installing 2016?
Sally,
The Screenshot shows your doing an online install. So your Internet connection should be 'opened' at all time.
I Prefer an browser download an d install later over the online install.
Just to make sure you have a complete setup downloaded before install.
I would recommend it to you also to try this approach.
Hi Edwin,
FYI. I have changed the Platform to 64, rather than 32/64, I am using a Window Laptop, able to download the set up and complete with the installation. Thanks for helping.
