Hello AutoDesk Experts,
Working on Mac Catalina, 10.15.3 (19D76), Trying to download the AutoCAD for Mac trial and it says it successfully installed, and yet when you click the icon to launch it prompts and error message. Report details are as follows: Error Signature: Autodesk Licensing Manager, version 5.4.0.75, Error: Unhandled Exception, This error report includes the following: Operating System name and version, product name & version, graphics configuration driver name & version, applications that were loaded when the error occurred, active command when the error occurred. Report contents: dmpuseringo.xml, dumpdata.zip, crasLog.txt, system_profile.xml.
I worked with the tech support and they said the download initially provided was corrupted, sent me a new one, that one failed, got another one from Ava, that one failed. I have 10TB so it's not an issue of space on my computer. Removed all downloads, uninstalled trails, and restarted the computer. Got a new downloaded trial tried again. Install successful, let it will not open from the icon in the programs doc, or in the applications folder. Tried on Safari to download, and later in Chrome too. No changes. Your thoughts welcome, it should not take 4-6 hours to download a free 30-day trial from AutoDesk. Please advise. 8-10 error reports sent to AutoDesk and no resolutions to date. Please help.
Part of the issue may lie with that Update 2020.1 is needed MacOSX Catalina: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/System-r...
