autocad download and serial number and product information issues

I'm having trouble with the download of auto cad 2016 and 2017 and the serial and product number request.  I have a monthly subscription. After using the browser download page, the program requests a serial number and the browser download page states that the serial numbers will show up when I download - but that does not happen. Can anyone help ?

This is common with term based licenses, however, if you log out then back into Autodesk Account, it should appear. Either way, the serial number for 2016 and 2017 will be the same as your 2018 serial number so just us that. There's no need to wait for the site to update.

Hello @Anonymous,

 

Welcome! You have a user sign in subscription product & I see you have not been given any version serial numbers, sorry for the inconvenience. 

You can change the .data file to show you have a "user" based license. Please conduct the steps below to resolve the issue and try to sign into the product. 

 

 Fix the LGS screen to show Sign In for 2017 & newer for Mac

    1. Close your Autodesk program.

    2. Delete the three (3) files prefixed with adskflex from the following folder:

       /Library/Preferences/Flexnet Publisher/FLEXnet

    3. Remove all files from the following folder:

      /User/username/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/ADUT

    4. Go to the following folder:

      /Library/Application/Support/Autodesk/CLM/LGS/<product key>_<product version>

    5. In this folder, do one of the following:
      • Open the LGS.DATA file, change the value to _USER, and save the file.

         

    6. When you launch your Autodesk software, you will be logged in automatically, or you will be prompted to Sign in.
