We have AutoCAD 2020 running on Microsoft Server 2012. We use it to automatically run lisp scripts to generate drawings. It worked fine (for years) up until a few weeks ago. Now AutoCAD does not exit cleanly -- it stays in memory as a background process -- and after so many instances are in memory, AutoCAD stops responding.
Opening AutoCAD without a drawing and immediately exiting still has the same problem.
Anyone know what might be going on?
Have you solved this?
If interested I have an app that automatically closes hanged acad.exe processes.
Running AutoCAD on a Windows Server is a violation of the License Agreement. You would fail an audit and likely be fined for this, just FYI.
