Hi,
I have had problems opening my AutoCAD after a computer crash today. The software can be launched, but will shut itself down after ~4mins and throwing a fatal error. The report number given by the error message is 713615485. Any advice on how to proceed is appreciated.
Best,
Chi
Did you try doing a complete shutdown before turning your computer back on & trying to run AutoCAD then?
In addition, consider doing a Repair.
Also, try the suggestion from these links:
Please select the "Accept as Solution" button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.
Could be a corrupted user profile, as described in the articles mentioned in the links. I notice there's no solution given on how to remedy that. Depending on the version you have, delete a registry key and a folder. Run these command's from CMD:
reg delete "hkcu\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R24.3" /f
rd /s /q "%appdata%\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2024"
In this case, the registry key and folder for AutoCAD 2024 will be removed. After that, restart AutoCAD and your user profile will be recreated.
Have you tried a Windows System Restore Point from before the crash, by chance?
