I am having an issue where AutoCAD processes are growing in number each time a session is opened.
I am running the latest update for AutoCAD 2020 (v2020.1.3) as well as the latest update for Single Sign-On (11.3.0.1803).
I can open AutoCAD, run a command (such as ABOUT), then close AutoCAD. The following processes are still running after AutoCAD closes:
These services were NOT running prior to me opening AutoCAD. When a script opens multiple drawings for processing, these processes increase in quantity until I run out of RAM and no additional AutoCAD sessions will open. I will add that the script is opening drawings one at a time and closing AutoCAD prior to opening another drawing. I can reproduce this manually as well.
I've attached a small video showing a sampling of what is happening. This is on a server with the following specs:
We also us network licenses (FlexLM).
Thanks.
Hello @itsam,
Thank you for posting, this issue was raised in the past regarding Autodesk licensing components, take a look at this post. The proper team has been informed regarding this issue, I will add your request as well.
You can launch cmd prompt as administrator by right-clicking it and running as administrator.
Also make sure to apply the Autodesk Licensing Service Update.
