AutoCAD 2017 product key

For AutoCAD 2017 I am entering the product key that was provided in the email sent to me by autodesk.. which is the same one found on the website for the applicaiton for which licensing activation I am filling in--code: 001G1 .. and it keeps telling me  "Please correct the information highlighted below" "The product key entered is not valid Verify and re-enter it. " ... Can I please get some assistance from AutoCAD SUPPORT TEAM or anyone else that knows why this is happening.

You nothing wrote about your Version.
You try a product key for Autodesk Autocad 2015.
Do you have installed Autocad 2015?
(OT: Do you have a license?)

If you installed Autocad 2015 as part of a Suite, that has another productkey.

Please tell us: Which Version you installed? As single Product or from a Suite package (which?)

Your productkey is also available in your autodesk account.

AutoCAD 2017 would not have a product key of 001G1 it would be 001I1 (or 001<letter i>1)

Be sure to type your serial number & product key. Note the correct product key below:
