Autocad 2017 educational

Hi, I have an educational account and I can download a previous version of Autocad (2019) from the website with serial number and product key. Unfortunately that version is not suitable for the school PCs and I need to download Autocad 2017 for windows 10 32 bit, the only version suitable for our PCs. I've find out the way to download the software with AVA, but now I can only try the software for one month. Is there a way to request an educational license of Autocad 2017? Thank you for your help.

Used to be where you buy your books you could get an Educational AutoCAD software.

But you can get it on line now:

Student and Education Software | 1-Year License | Autodesk Education Community

Warning, if you take a drawing from this software and take it to work, it will have Student Addition on all 4 sides.

You are only to do school work and not for money.

nope 2017 is not available under a student license

They would always have the latest version.

But you can get the latest and change your SAVE settings to be 2013 if you so desire.

2017 is not an option but anyone using 2017 can open your file due to being saved down to 2013.

We have 2022 and I set all ours to 2010 because so many clients run on older platforms.

can you not upgrade to 64 bit windows 10?

why are you on 32 bit still?

Hello,

I'm IT manager since 2 month in education school and I need help about autodesk re-installation.

In April 2022 when licenses will expire Do I have to uninstall the existing version and reinstall a new version after buying the new licenses ?

We have a lot of computers,  so is it possible not to have to uninstall and reinstall the program

Maybe just modify the activation key and upload update.

I remind you that we have an eduction version.

Hi @frederic.eloy,

If you're upgrading to a new version then a separate install is needed as they are completely separate applications.

If you're just updating the license then you don't need to reinstall since the license determines the access rights, not the installer as everyone gets the same installer.
