Hello,
I have an a setup where I have a C# application that is passing a script to autocad and it is modifying/saving a drawing.
The issue is we recently upgraded to win10 from win7. I noticed that the c# application is hanging because it is waiting for autocad to complete. The odd thing is autocad is crashing when it gets to the quit part of the script. Windows event viewer logs a crash:

Hello @Anonymous,
I would make sure that your installation of Windows 10 was successful without any errors and also make sure by contacting the Virtual software manufacturer you are using to make sure it was not corrupted in the process.
Once you confirm that the operating system is sound and that the virtual machine is also working properly I would then focus on your Autodesk application., based on the information you shared this issue started right after the Windows install so I believe that's your root issue.
