When I tried to install Mac audocad, a message popped up saying that "somewhere" 360 was running. I have no clue what is means. The only Mac autodesk product is autocad on the Mac side...the pc side was not in operation.

To Force Quit on a Mac of an application try:
Then, try installing again.
You can also try to Shut Down and run the installer for the software again. Thank you for posting.

I'm not a MAC user but it sounds like you have the A360 service installed and its running. Under MAC OS locate services or whatever its called and stop the A360 process or follow this article.

First of all, what MAC OS are you running? Is it listed as a supported OS for AutoCAD for MAC?
