AutoCAD 2012 Mechanical Student Activation Issue

I have a new HP Laptop, so just bought a new version of AutoCAD LT 2015, downloaded and installed it, but now the registration seems to be stuck in a cycle.

I put in the serial number and product code, log in and click on the activate button, it then brings up another small window saying it's activating, but then takes me straight back to the 'enter serial number page'

Any ideas?
