Arnold 2022 education license unavailable.

I am trying to get an education version of Arnold, to use with our license server, but I am unable to select that version on the website. We need this version for the latest version of Houdini & Maya which has the Arnold v7 engine.(2022_0_0_F license.)  Can anyone either manually add this license to our account or provide me with a method to get this ?

Thx for replying, but none of these have anything to do with the question asked. 

 

I need 2022 education licenses for Arnold. So we can work with the latest versions for Houdini H2A and Maya 2022 M2A which all run on the V7 engine of Arnold.

Unfortunately, this helpline is only setup to answer questions pertaining to the Education Community website and not product functionality/compatibility questions.

 

Product functionality and compatibility questions can be posted on our discussion groups. These discussion groups are monitored by Autodesk Experts and they would be able to respond with precise information.

They are not understanding the issue. Even when I do get in touch with the correct helpdesk.

Arnold 2022 is the license version that Autodesk forces all products to use.

The actual software version is Arnold 7.0 (MtoA 5.x)

Then while you wait and wait and wait around here for someone at Autodesk (like the fella who just did a drive-by then ignored you)... Start a support ticket through your Autodesk portal as explained here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/account-management/users-software/support-options#:~....

I am just bumping in here to say I am having the exact same issue as @software.amsterdam . I am unable to access the Arnold 2022 license upon upgrading to Maya 2022.3 which uses Arnold 7.

 

Previously I had two cases open, but the support agents had no idea what was going on. Just recently my last case agent abruptly closed my case when I informed him for the second or third time that I did not have access to the Arnold 2022 license to use on our Network Server. I found it very unprofessional for the agent to close my case without even a follow-up to my concerns. So here I am, with no answers or solutions, yet.

 

Any information or help would be very grateful.

Yesterday I got in touch with an Autodesk Education Support agent concerning the Arnold 2022 Licensing being unavailable on our Edu accounts. I even shared this thread with the agent, but they still do not know what is going on. 

 

The agent I spoke with passed my case up their chain-of-command. At this point I am just waiting for some kind of answer or resolution. Sorry for not bringing any better news 😢

@software.amsterdam Chiming in to say that we, too, are running into this issue.  I've also opened a ticket with Autodesk, but so far it sounds like @Vdrome is making more progress.  Fingers crossed for a solution!

No, I haven't heard anything back from Autodesk. I have my suspicions that it could either be something wrong with the back-end of their education website, or their in the midst of changing up their licensing model with Arnold.

 

In the meantime we are having our students use their education e-mails to get complimentary access Arnold via "Sing User" in the Arnold License Manager application. That would give them a years worth of access.

 

Hopefully sooner than later we will have a clear answer on this.

It is some kind of back-end problem, and they are looking at possible solutions/alternatives. I don't have access to the actual ticket yet, so I don't know the details.
