ADLSDK_STATUS_LICENSE_CHECKOUT_ERROR on Fedora 41 for Maya

Hello Autodesk Licensing Forum,

I just upgraded my Linux system to Fedora 41, and I just got Maya to launch from the Unix Terminal thanks to the help of @nelsoncruz. Now the next step to getting the whole thing to launch is to get the Autodesk DRM to connect. I got this error upon launching from the terminal.

I clicked the Sign in button under the drop down message and the terminal fed me back an error saying

maya: Autodesk MAYA 2024

A licensing error occurred that Autodesk systems were not able to handle for you. Please contact Autodesk Customer Support for help in resolving this error.

adlsdkAuthorize returned with error code: ADLSDK_STATUS_LICENSE_CHECKOUT_ERROR

The default location for log files to help diagnose the issue is:
"/usr/tmp/MayaCLM-30-10-2024.log"

I clicked the "here" the link on the drop down box and I read that something must be wrong with my internet, but before I can definitely confirm that is the case, I think I will need help deciphering what is in my licensing log. I also went and tried updating AdskLicensingAgent via the terminal and manually confirming my license as said on the guide here, but that did not work either. So is there something wrong with my connection to the Autodesk servers to confirm my license? Is there a necessary update I need to know about to get the servers working? Attached to this forum post is my log so others can help diagnose my issue. Thank you

Hi @blendernoob64

Have you seen the following article about this:

https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/The-required-conne...

This tends to be a firewall / Anti-virus issue and blocking access.

Here is a licensing tool that might help see what's blocked:

You want to look at the Connection Tab

Sorry for the late reply. I tried using the tool and only one thing was not connecting properly, that url being https://signin.autodesk.com/idmgr/callback. But after trying the tool on my Macbook, a computer that still has Maya working on it, it gave me the same error so I thought it wasn't relevant. After hearing from other Fedora 41 users that Maya works just fine for them, I figured it must be something wrong with my system in general. Is there any other suggestions you can throw my way?

Edit : Another clue I found is the looking at the status of the Autodesk Licensing Service. I saw in yellow text, that there is a disabled preset when checking. I am a little worried about that. I hope that is helpful. Screenshot From 2024-11-05 07-34-31.png
