Have you seen post 24 of this thread? That is the solution, use it.

(In the forum here are users like you and I, we can't create activation codes, they can be only sent to you from Autodesk)

This here is a user forum, we users can't create an activation code.

You should to go the default way of online-activation when you start your product the first time after installation.

Although the security aspect of the forum kicked in and "X" out your serial #..   However don't share personal information such as your serial # here.  This is a world wide user forum.

At this point I can't tell if your serial # was legit or like others that have posted here..  You have cracked/illegal serial #.  If this is a legal serial # and the serial # is still active, you can get your activation code from

Unfortunately, this is mainly a peer to peer network where users are assisting other users like yourself.  We don't issue activation codes they come from Autodesk.

If you properly purchased this product like 17 to 19 years ago you would have a legit serial # and thus it could be activated without the need for you to come here looking for the users to give you an activation code.  Since this product is so old, obsoleted, and no longer supported by Autodesk, may I ask where you got this from?

Lost hard drive. Had copy of acad on another HD after transferring it to a solid state drive. Transfered academic from old dr back to the solid dr, but license code was not in the regedit.exercise. had to recover license using program Jelley bean.comega. it find all keys you find your key and cut and paste. Re-edit is hidden file so be sure to serve search.

I guess you didn't read any of the replies here.  This is a user base forum and we don't issue activation codes.  If you have a legit serial # your activation will happen and there would be no need to come here.
