Activation error 123

Dear Autodesk Education Team,

 

I’m trying to activate AutoCAD but get this error. Am I doing something wrong?

Also, when mailing via the Contact Customer Support link, the response from the mailserver is : Mailbox Full.

It looks like you are receiving Error 123 - "The serial number you entered is not valid for the product you are trying to activate."

You're trying to install the software as a Standalone version. Instead, you need to install as a Network version because that's what your serial number was created for...

I'm having the same issues. I am a one man office, no network needed. I've tried installing it both ways and for the network option its asking me questions I have no idea how to answer. On my old computer it was a simple installation and started working right away, now I'm locked out of it and can't access it at all. Trying to get help from Autodesk is impossible, I just want to talk to someone and instead have to navigate a website that points you in every direction except for the simplest option.
