Acad2006 & Acad/Revit Series 8

We have a few vanilla Acad2006 network licenses & a few Acad/Revit Series 8 licenses. We've installed the vanilla Acad2006 deployment image on all the PC's in our office, but now they don't see the Acad/Revit Series 8 licenses on the server.... I don't want to have to install 2 version of Acad on every PC.... Is there anyway for vanilla Acad to find the Acad/Revit Series 8 licenses?

You may be able to simply combine the license files (I'm not sure with these
particular products):

Thx for the reply, but that doesn't help. That just gives me 1 lic. file. The problem is the vanilla acad.exe is hardcoded to look for the string "48800ACD_2006_0F" in the .lic file & the Acad/Revit series 8 acad.exe is hardcoded to look for "50300REVITS_8_0F" I have vanilla acad.exe on all the PC's so it doesn't know to look for "50300REVITS_8_0F"

I understand. That's called the "feature code".

It would make sense that you could use a more expensive Revit license to run
plain AutoCAD... but there's no such "hierarchy" in the license file
(AutoCAD <= Revit).

But, you said you had a few vanilla AutoCAD licenses. If so, you can
combine them with the Revit licenses to get at least some of the behavior
you want.

Hello,

you have no solutions. It's hardcoded.
Autocad from a Autocad/Revit Series try to connect to the licence server
with a feature "50300REVITS_8_0F".
I have the same problem with a customer.
