3dsmax free trial error

Hi,

Downloaded and installed 3ds Max 2021.1, free trial, on Windows 10.

When opening app, pop-up says there's a problem with software licensing.

How to get it running properly?

Hello @Anonymous, 

 

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble starting your trial.  

 

Please try running through the following steps: 

  1. Restart your computer
  2. Temporarily disable security settings like Antivirus, Firewall, VPN & UAC on your Windows operating system
  3. In the setting section of your browser, disable pop-up blockers and allow access to all "autodesk.com" sites (other sites may include)
  4. In the History section of your browser, "Clear browsing data" delete cookies, cache, and history
  5. Verify that the browser is updated
  6. Close and reopen the browser
  7. Test launching 3dsMax again 
  8. Try the steps in this article, An error has occurred in the script on this page" when opening Autodesk 2020 products

If you continue to experience issues, please continue & run through the steps below: 

  1. Conduct a Clean Uninstall of the previous installation & use the MSfixitTool to complete it
  2. Reboot the computer, make sure apps are not auto running in the background 
  3. Resetting and Changing Your Autodesk Account Credentials
