Recently apparently something change with the licensing with Autodesk that obviously do not work at all.
For a while I had an update available in my Autodesk Desktop Launcher that I didn't wanted to install because things like this can happen and happens a lot.
So I think I ignored it but yesterday when I tried to use 3Ds Max 2020 it continuously was telling my that my license was expired. Which was a mistake and all was right in my product details and desktop launcher; anyway it didn't work and reinstalled 3ds Max.
Now when I launch 3ds max it ask me for license, and show me 3 options "sign in Autodesk ID", "enter serial number", or use "network license". I'm in a educational license so only can use "signing in" or "serial number" but neither of them work !!!! is like if I select "Sign in" it try to launch and with out any reason it crash, no error, not anything; "serial number" means instantly crash !!! even I'm sign in the desktop launcher and tried every update hoping to fix this.... is like if there's a stable version of your product why crashing it with some new updates ?! Man I'm having a hard time here and I feel very stuck now.... please some help
I attached a log, I think is the one that has what happened...
Thank you
Hello @Anonymous,
I have reviewed your educational account details and I don't see any products assigned to your Autodesk account email of rafael.gamedesign@xxxxx.com. Are you using a different email to sign-in for your Autodesk software?
Please make sure you are approved by the Autodesk Educational Program to then gain access to educational licenses.
How to gain access to Educational Software (as of May 2020)
Note: Educational Software is offered for a set term (1yr or previously 3yrs). When the term has ended & the software license expires you will need to visit the "Get Products" page, re-verify your status & select a newer version.
Please "Accept Solution" if a reply or replies have helped resolve the issue or answered your question, to help others in the community.
