2023 Installation - Wont install on 2nd drive

Has anyone else had any issues installing AutoCAD 2023 to a 2nd drive?

Ive just gone to install 2023 and i dont have enough space on my C: drive... Not an issue ive got over 1TB free on my 2nd drive.. Created my own Autodesk folder on D drive and navigated to that location when the install wizard asks me where to install... Click Next, then i get a error message that autocad wont install due to not enough space on C: drive, i then have to cancel the install and start again to make sure i selected the correct location (sometimes we make mistakes). Nope same thing, DEFINITELY selected the right location.

Any help is welcome, apart from "clean up C:" - Its as clean as can be for now, i need to get it working from D drive as im going to reinstall all my other autodesk products there as long as i can get this working.

Cheers

There is still a good chunk of the program that installs on the OS primary drive, and there is no workaround for that. Sorry.

System requirements for AutoCAD 2023 including Specialized Toolsets (Windows)
Operating System 64-bit Microsoft® Windows® 11 and Windows 10 version 1809 or above. See Autodesk's Product Support Lifecycle for support information.

That's why ...

Try cleaning up some space by extracting it to your :cara_que_sufre_dolor: Drive

Moving everything you can from the C:\Autodesk folder to the :cara_que_sufre_dolor: drive

Clean out the temp folder

See if that gets you space.

If you have older versions installed you might need to remove some
