[15419] - Can't Remove Revit 2014 from Windows 8

I have a client that has installed Revit from the Building Design Suite Premium 2014.  The installation didn't go well and subsequently uninstalled it.  Now it does not appear in the Programs and Features list and he can't install it again as the installer says it is already installed.  On Windows 7 this was an easy fix with the Microsoft Fixit tool, however that no longer works for Windows 8.  Apparently it has been built into the OS.  I can find other tools from Fixit in Windows 8 but not the one for cleaning out the installs.  Is there anyway to do this without the need to third party applications such as Revo or CCleaner?

Regards,

Kent,

I just tried the Microsoft Fix it tool on Windows 8 to uninstall Revit 2014, worked fine.

Thanks,

Agreed, the fix it tool should work on Win8.

Yes that works. Don't try and go to the site below on Windows 8 though as it redirects you to another site

http://support.microsoft.com/fixit/

Thanks for your help
