Wrong System Clock

I am getting the below error when signing into Autodesk Desktop App and a similar error when i try to run Autocad Lt 2018.

Error A360 Wrong System Clock

The clock on your computer is wrong.  Check the date, time and time zone settings and try to sign in again.

I have following the trouble shooting advise and no affect.  The date and time settings are correct on my windows 10 pc.

I have also tried a resintall.  No affect.

How can this be fixed?

Hi @Anonymous

This can happen if the clock in Windows 10 is correct however it might be wrong in your system BIOS:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/a360-drive-forum/a360-wrong-system-clock/td-p/6991178

Please check your system BIOS and check the date/time is correct there too.

Be careful in the BIOS as changing the wrong settings in here can have critical effects on your system.

In case your not sure how to check the BIOS clock I found this WIKI page with some generic instructions with pictures:

Let us know if this helps and mark as solution if this fixes you issue so others with this problem know what to do.

In addition to @markcalloway response, the licensing information could've been generated with the wrong time/date. That said, after you make the necessary changes on your system, perform the following to reset your licensing information:

  1. On your computer, navigate to:
    • C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\CLM\LGS\<product key>_<<product version>>\
  2. Delete the LGS.data file.
  3. Navigate to
    • C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\
  4. Delete the ADUT folder and it's contents
  5. Start the application.

When you start the application, it will Prompt you to choose one of the following:

  • Login - 30 day trial licenses
  • Serial Number - Standalone and Single-User activations
  • Network - Network License server for obtaining licenses from a machine on your network

Choose the option that matches your license.

NOTE: Students will always use the Serial Number option
