Worst Customer Service of all time.

I've spent 10 freeeking days trying to resolve an uninstall LT 2018 and install AutoCAD 2019.  Still with no solution.  There is no solution for our problem listed on web site, on any forum, no one wants to get involved and TALK, .  Been trying all avenues, no one to call, no one to assist, no one to even suggest.

Have, count them... 3 Case numbers because no one talks to anyone within the organization.  If there was competition, AutoDESK would loose customers by the masses and would not be able to stay in business for more than 6 months.  This is horrible.

Hi @rickrob,

I am sorry that you are having a difficult time getting in touch with support.  It sounds like your issue is an Installation and licensing one and their is a specific forum for that type of issue.  I will move this thread to that board but I am happy to try and assist you as well.

First, you do not have to uninstall AutoCAD LT 2018 in order to install AutoCAD 2019.. In fact I suggest that it might be good to keep it installed until you are comfortable with the installation of 2019.

If you would still like to uninstall and it won't, what kind of errors are you seeing that prevents it?

ON the installation side for AutoCAD 2019, have you gone to your account page and downloaded the software? If so, what seems to be failing in the installation process?

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

Although @john.vellek is from Autodesk, just remember this is a mainly a user based forum where users are assisting other users.  So posting here about worst customer service is not really going to help.  You should provide feedback here https://www.autodesk.com/company/contact-us/product-feedback and that way Autodesk sees your concern.

Anyhow I provided the solution to your issue in this posting https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/installation-licensing/can-t-uninstall-or-repair-lt2018-cna-t-dlowloa...

I'll attempt to respond in the order submitted.

1. The errors for uninstalling - see attached.

b. Error message in downloading new AutoCAD 2019.

2. Yes, followed instructions to the letter. Get error message
attached.
3. Started to un install all AutoCAD programs. Some I can, some I
can't the main app, I cannot uninstall.

There's nothing attached unless you are referring to the original attachments in the other posting you had.

At this point I believe your machine is messed up and you must use Microsoft Fixit to resolve the uninstall issue.

Hi @rickrob,

Let's try to get the uninstall to work first.

Here is an article that describes each step in performing a clean uninstall. In includes the FIxIt from Microsoft that Mark has generously also provided.

Please go through this process for both the AutoCAD LT 2018 and the 2019 if it shows up.   Let me know the results so we can further work on this portion of the equation of we will proceed to the install part of your problem.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

For the Uninstall can you use the Microsoft FixIt to remove it:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed...

Then for the install, can you have a look at the following AKN:

Hi @rickrob,

I checked your cases and the uninstall was resolved by the Fixit tool as suggested in several posts in this thread.

The install of new product was accomplished by adjusting the Temp folder location to C:\Autodesk\TEMP. After that, AutoCAD ACAD 2019 installation competed successfully.
