I am the senior IT Technician at Collingwood College. We have an open ticket (14241115) which has been open nearly 2 months. As of tomorrow (6th July) we won't have had a single reply for 1 month!! I created a twitter account just to tweet @AutodeskHelp. They have suggested I post here.
We have been given an educational license for HSM 2017 Ultimate. We have added the product key to our network license server however it fails to activate. There is nothing wrong with the license server as Inventor still activates and works. According to this article (https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/inventor-products/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcartic...) we require an Autodesk Inventor HSM PRO 2017 license for it to work.
All I am asking for is that either an Autodesk HSM 2017 PRO license is assigned to us or an alternate Ultimate bundle license that can license other HSM 2017 versions as detailed in the knowledgebase article above.
Can someone please help or give Autodesk support a kick up the rear?
