Visual C++ Runtime Error-R6034

I need to use Maya 2015 to work with Autodesk's Project Dreamcatcher (I am an intern beta testing the software for Autodesk). However, when I try to run Maya after installing, Maya pops up but before I can do anything I get the following error message:

"Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program files\Autodesk\Maya2015\bin\maya.exe

R6034

An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact thre application's support team for more information."

At this point, the program stops responding and I can't even click okay on the error message.

I have looked online for solutions and have been unable to find any. Additionally, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of Visual C++ and Maya 2015 several times. I am running Windows 8.1 on a lenovo thinkpad.

Please help me with this problem!

Hi, I didn't find anything related to "R6034" in the dev db.

Look at the Maya guides under "Installing a Maya plug-in"

There is a caution there.

Perhaps this is what you are doing?

Hello,

The issue presents itself right after the installation, when I first launch
the program.

Unfortunately it's not related to plug-ins.

Please let me know if there is any other info that you need on my side.

Welcome to the community.

First of all this posting is almost 2 years and a subject matter about a Visual C Runtime error.  In the future please create you own posting and do not hi-jack other posting that have nothing to do with your needs.

Secondly.  Dreamcatcher is not supported here.  As far as I know its an Autodesk Research project and I don't think you can get a beta program for it.   This is the information I found as of Dec 2016
