Uninstall / Reinstall

I was adding and removing some plugins and deleted some by accident that were apart of Maya.

I have tried to Repair/Re-Install/Uninstall .. but it does nothing, and quits the installer.

Need to know how to completely un-install and re-install..

this would be with the

Entertainment Creation Suite Ultimate

Thanks.

Read the forums some more, found the uninstall Tool... tried doing just maya, it failed... trying to uninstall everything now..

which sucks, have to re-install everything again..

that's if it works, cause it's taking forever 😞

NoGo--

Autodesk UNinstall Tool = Failed..

I selected everthing and hit un-install... took forever, and it didn't uninstall 1 program..

Now I dunno what to do.. I cant un-install, reinstall, or install anything to fix the problems I'm having.

UPdate to this fiasco..

Maya 2016 is the only program left..

It's the one I started with needing to remove and fix, and it still remains,

I have managed to remove everything else...

From windows add/remove says programs not there, yet they also remain on my HD..

I'm hoping installing over the top of them wont be an issue.

Back to the problem at hand,

the error Maya is now giving me is ....

The Specified Account Already Exists

how to fix this?

After deleting a ton of registery entries, searching for keyword Maya,

Finally I guess I got the right one, and it was no longer listed as being installed.

Re-Installed, updating everything now.. hopefully it will all work fine, and I wont have to re-install windows.

I realize this is an old post however, I'm sure there are others out there having this same problem. It's an issue with corrupted registry keys that causes Maya 2016 to fail to uninstall. Download and run Microsoft's Install / Uninstall tool and follow the instructions. You should be good to go after that. Worked like a charm for me on Windows 10.

2016 is also failing to uninstall from my machine. What registry entries are speaking of? I'd like to give this a shot.

It wasn't until after posting my initial reply I saw @Anonymous 's solution, but the download in the provided link leads to a 404 error.
