I cant uninstall Inventor 2024 test version, Autodesk Access or Autodesk Genuine software ?

I use windows 11 pro. I get a text that the file is not connected to an app. What can I do ?

Can I download 2025 version and update the old 2024 and then uninstall ?

Hi!

Don't uninstall Autodesk Access or Autodesk Genuine software, you will need these apps if you want to use Autodesk software.

Yes, you can (and you should) install Inventor 2025 and uninstall Inventor 24 later.

To uninstall Inv. 24, just go to panel control, select Inventor Professional 2024 and select uninstall.

To uninstall Inventor, just use the Control Panel.

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features

If you start Inventor 2024 and/or 2025, they already start and work?

Hi @Kristian_hem

So do you have 2025 installed ... and everything migrated? Let's start there ..

I got the uninstall to work finally. Not completely sure what fixed it. I think its important to go with the "old" control panel in windows 11 and not with the newer "Installed apps".
