Trojan detected when using Install Now

I know other people talked about how to use browser download and can bypass this message and get the installation working. But I am more concerned about that my system reported: rasftuby.sjaa-1251 is detected and it is Trojan, which from my google search, it is a Trojan! AutoCAD Install Now is using Akamai and this error message happened when Akamai was trying to be installed. Could anyone confirm or have an explanation to such problem?

Well, that is the point I am posting, I don't want to disable my Anti-virus software if it is a real Trojan virus!

What Anti-Virus application do you have?  Numerous Anti-Virus application reports are false positive for this. Do you realize the number of people who download Autodesk software and never have a problem.. The ones that report something like this are very rear.  Smiley Wink Yes I don't want to discredit your concerns but you are fine.

Update:  Let me clarify my statement.   As long as you are using the Autodesk web site, your Autodesk Account or the Autodesk Virtual Agent you can be sure Autodesk is providing virus-free download information.

Smiley Very Happy  I'll assume that's supposed to be "... are very rare...".

Friend, to install software you always have to suspend your anti-virus: if you still feel uncomfortable about it contact an Autodesk reseller in your region of the world and pay to have them ship you a thumbdrive with the installer on it. You'll still have to disable your anti-virus to install the software and trust the thumbdrive is not "infected" too.

Hello @Anonymous,

Welcome.

Just be sure you are downloading from an authorized Autodesk source like your Autodesk Account or website. Also that you are on a secure network/internet access.

Most Antivirus will detect foreign files but this does not mean that it is a virus, you can open the antivirus software & change the settings to allow only Autodesk related files to run by making exclusions. Try searching the antivirus software site for how to information on this, otherwise you can temporarily disable it until you finish activating the Autodesk software.
