The License manager is not functioning or is improperly installed

The message box error, that I used for the title, is a regular occurrence for me. I'm in a building that doesn't have a fast enough network connection to reinstall Autocad, and since this seems to be the only fix for this, my computer has to be carried to another building to do so.

I have a single seat subscription on a Windows 7 Professional computer that's connected to a company network.

In my C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\CLM\LGS folder there's only 1 folder called "057J1_2018.0.0.F" that contains 1 data file called "LGS" that contains the text "_USER".

Is there another more dependable way to license my subscription so this isn't a regular problem for me?

I have no clue what you company has done and/or how your permissions, infrastructure and etc is set up.  Have you guys gone through each of those items or articles in that last link I provided?   Have you chatted with an Autodesk Agent about this: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/contact-support/account-management/managing-user-access?

Hello @Anonymous,

If you move to a Multi-user Network License type it does not require the 30day connection to the internet for validation. What is your IT concerned about?

If your IT has determined that your current environment cannot support a subscription license type due to internet connectivity issues based on the information we provided, you may want to consider making the move to a multi-user network license.

As mentioned by Mark, network licenses of AutoCAD LT are not available to all customers, you can contact a > sales professional < for more questions regarding this possible change, your options & pricing.

Thank you for posting & keeping us informed.

It was discovered with testing by Autodesk support that access to Autocad's license server was being blocked by my company's network and permission had to be provided.
