Hello @Anonymous,

You mentioned reformatting your OS please verify that it was completed successfully & that you have tested the Windows profile. Also verify that your OS meets the system requirements to run Fusion 360,  it states Windows 8.1. You want to make sure everything is running smoothly on your OS before installing any applications. Please run through the steps below after verifying the stability of the OS.

  1. Conduct a Clean Uninstall of the previous installation attempt
  2. Reboot the computer, make sure apps are not auto running in the background
  3. Log in as Administrator (check your permissions, full control) or create a new profile
  4. Make sure you have an uninterrupted & high-speed connection to the internet
  5. Clean out the TEMP folder. To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Start Menu and hit Enter (Windows)
  6. Temporarily disable security settings like Antivirus, Firewall & UAC on your Windows operating system
  7. Use the Download Now Method in your Autodesk Account to install Fusion 360

If you are still experiencing an issue it maybe due to one of the two most common causes:
