Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community

What type of license and Autodesk product are you talking about?

If this is subscription based single user license, the answer is NO.  The named account used can only be used once at any given time to authorize the application.  Each person requiring access to an Autodesk product must have a named account and the use of the product assigned to them.

@Anonymous: Thank you for the response.

License: Serial Number Based

Product: AutoCAD LT 2017

Each person accessing the product should not need any to authorize/activation of the product. Of course, we will need to assign the product to the user(upon the request, if someone needs the product to be installed and used)

I believe Autodesk would have some option to enable the SSO for such user's and not use the network license ?

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for your reply.

Actually, what we need to know is whether your license is subscription-based (rental model) or perpetual. Both of these licensing models may correspond to a serialized license.

@Mark.Lancaster already provided the response for the subscription-based license. On the other hand, if it's a perpetual license, the user won't need to sign in to access/activate the software, he'll just need to activate the product with the provided Serial Number and Product Key.

Hope this helps.
