Single User License Info

Can a single user profile have AutoCAD and Revit open at the same time with this new single user licensing structure?

Can a single user profile have Revit and Robot open at the same time with this licensing structure?

How many Revit products can a user have open with this licensing structure?

How does it work with people who have laptops and desktops, will they need additional licenses?

Single User License simply means that one user needs to have a license for each and every software they want to use.

That user can open ALL of them at the very same time if they want, Autodesk does not restrict that in any way shape or form.

If that user has both a laptop and a desktop, they do not need additional licenses for each device since that one user is never likely to have both devices on and all software on and running at the exact same time. Or are they?

So I will need one license for Autocad (all versions), one license for Revit (all versions). So that means I can have Revit 2020 and Revit 2021 open at the same time correct. What about Revit and Autocad open at same time?

HI @dmiller2010,

Yes, You can have multiple products open at the same time so having Revit and AutoCAD open at the same time is not an issue.

Do yourself a huge favor and contact an Autodesk Reseller in your region to help you clarify your wishes and needs instead of relying on scattered posts from non-Autodesk folks. Here is the link to find a reseller https://www.autodesk.com/partners/locate-a-reseller

Today April2021 your active subscription to AutoCAD gives you access and use permission for AutoCAD 2022-2021-2020-2019. For REVIT you get instant access to REVIT2022-2021-2020-2019. You can install and open all of them at the very same time on your computer as often as you want to bog down your computer.

Would you still have access to Revit 2018 if you still have projects in that version after you install 2022?
