Silent Install not possible?

Hi everyone,

 

I'm currently trying to install the newest "Design Review".

I've download the newest file (German) from here: https://www.autodesk.com/products/design-review/download

 

And would like to install it as described here: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Silent-Deployment-of-Des...

 

The really strange thing is: if I manually install it via the downloaded "SetupDesignReview.exe", it extracts itself and I can install it without any problem.

But when I copy those extracted files (as described in the KB) and try to still manually install it, it fails with this error:

  • "This product or it's requirements do not support the selected language"

When I try to silently install DesignReview, the following error can be found in the log:

  • cannot find/read "C:\_install\DesignReview\x86\ADR\program files\Autodesk\Autodesk Design Review\EComposite\EModelViewer.dll"

-> "C:\_install\DesignReview\" is the location I copied the extracted setup files to

 

I just installed the product manually to get the version number:

  • Build: 14.0.0.177

This is the last "German" build it seems.

Our OS is: Windows 10 v1809

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

And the file

C:\_install\DesignReview\x86\ADR\program files\Autodesk\Autodesk Design Review\EComposite\EModelViewer.dll

does exist ? Can you upload the complete msi log file ?
