Revit LT 2016 can't activate license

I recently subscribed to and downloaded Revit LT 2016. Although the installation was successful, I am unable to activate the product. It keeps telling met that my Serial Number is not valid, even though I have repeatedly checked it to make sure it is correct. Indeed, it does match the one listed on my account management page. However, now when I go to my account managment page, the Product Key listed is different than the one that Revit lists, and I can't figure out a way to change that.

My only thought as to what could have caused thie problem is this: After getting the product downloaded, I turned off the automatic subscription because it's unlikely that I will need to use it next month. Could this in some way have invalidated my Serial Number?

Hello wesmc2003

It looks like you're getting an "Invalid Serial Number” message or having trouble with your product key while trying to register and activate your Autodesk software. The following article(s) should help you resolve the problem:

Click Top reasons why you may get a Serial Number Error during Activation

And check Error: "Invalid serial number" (standalone activation)

For product key information: Finding Serial Numbers & Product Keys

If you’re having an issue with your product key, please make sure that you are using the correct one for your product (especially if your product comes from a suite). Finally, you should type then numbers and letters in. We do not recommend copy/paste.

If you are still having issues activating your product, you may visit our Activation Contact Us page and submit your inquiry there.

Hello @Anonymous

There is no way to manually fix this.  You will need to uninstall and reinstall Revit to enter a diffeent product code.

Thank you for taking part in our community forum!

Kind Regards,

I have now reinstalled Revit. When I open it, I am prompted to sign into my Autodesk account. After that I get to a screen saying "Contact your administrator to request permission to use this product."

I have tried adding myself as a user of this seat on my Autodesk account, put the page stalls out everytime after I click save.

I really need this to work ASAP as I have a project that I need to finish this weekend.
