Revit installation Error 10

Greetings everyone,

I am running Windows 11 on my Macbook parallel and have been attempting to install Revit 2025. 

The install usually reaches around 9%, after which it randomly cancels and gives an 'Error 10". 

I have tried all attempts at updating windows, running commands in terminal and speaking with Autodesk support staff who unfortunately have done little to help.

I was told by a Live Agent that my case would need to be moved to the technical department and within 2-3 days I would receive an email, which has of course not happened. they have only referred me to the forum where people have previously discussed this error, however these have not seemed to work. 

If anyone has overcome this issue or a similar one, do let me know!

Hi there, is it possible that you can provide me with a link like those which you previously provided which would allow me to install revit 2025 with lighting and sola analysis plugins?

The links you provided worked just to install revit but when i attempt to install extensions, the installation randomly quits and I get a generic error.

I moved to Parallels. There was a discount for subscription on black Friday, so I used it. Everything works there. I have used it only for a small project for my apartment interior though, so I am not sure how it can handle something bigger... Overall I hope in the future there will be an option to use virtual machine with windows and revit for free. It is ridiculous to pay extra for virtual machine when subscription of revit already looks overpriced. Or there will be a miracle and autodesk will make revit version for OS system.
