Hello @Anonymous,

Welcome back.

When you say "my computer is blocked" do you mean you can not access other applications & functions on the PC?

Did you just install Revit 2019 or was it install previously & stopped working all of a sudden?

Steps to correct failed download or installation:

  1. Conduct a Clean Uninstall of the previous installation attempts & use the MSfixitTool to complete it
  2. Reboot the computer & log in as Administrator
  3. Clean out the TEMP folder. To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Start Menu and hit Enter (Windows)
  4. Temporarily disable security settings like Antivirus, Firewall & UAC on your Windows operating system
  5. Use the Browser Download Method in your Autodesk Account or via the AVA | Autodesk Virtual Agent (download all the parts)

Let us know how it goes.

Hello,

Yesterday as I said it worked well, today failed again with the same symptom for which I asked for help. I don't know what else to do... it's tiring and I lose time.

Help again.

Hello @enla,

Please use Event Viewer to locate the root cause of this issue by pulling logs.

Event Viewer

  1. Hold down the Windows key and press R.
  2. In the Run dialog box, type EVENTVWR.MSC and click OK. This will open the Event Viewer.
  3. In the left pane, under Event Viewer (Local), expand the Windows Logs folder by double-clicking on it or clicking on the arrow next to the folder.
  4. Under Windows Logs, right-click on Application and select Save All Events As... from the menu.
  5. When prompted, type Application Event Log for the file name and then save the file to your Desktop.
  6. Under Windows Logs, right-click on System and select Save All Events As... from the menu.
  7. When prompted, type System Event Log for the file name and then save the file to your Desktop.
  8. Attach the file when you reply to Support.

Then, take a look at the logs from the time it worked til the time you had an issue to see what occurred recently that made it stop functioning.

Hello enla,

I have looked over the logs, the errors in the event log starting 4/30 2:15pm show that the system is trying to access C:\users\AppData\.. you will need Admin permissions to this location for Autodesk software.

It also shows 4/30 9:06am EapHost 2002, are you having issues with your wifi connection if so connect directly with an ethernet cable or try another network.

Update: 4/10 4:42 Windows Error Report 1001 Event Name: WindowsUpdateFailure3

Uninstall & reinstall your Windows Update make sure to have a good connection to the internet, it seems you had an interrupted Windows update.

Then conduct the steps below:

My suggestion is that you reach out to Microsoft if you continue to have an issue. Make sure to have them review the securities on your system.

Thank you,

Natasha

Hello @Anonymous,

I just wanted to see how you are doing. Were you able to uninstall & reinstall the Windows update? Or resolve the issues with the system?

Is there anybody solve it for ever? or could solve opening "material browser" problem?
