Revit 2017 Serial Number invailed

Hi, 

I have downloaded the educational Revit 2017 product. I am a student and was told i get 3 free years of the program, The program downloaded fine, but it only gave me a 30 day trail.  It asked me to activate the product so i did and it gave me a serial number and product key to enter, Which i did.  I go to click next and it says that the serial number is invalid. I've checked my account for the correct Revit 2017 serial number and it doesn't give me a number to plug in.  Frustrated as to why this doesn't work. Help would be very much appreciated

Hello,

Make sure you have an internet connection during activation and disable any antivirus.

Also, make sure you're using the right Product Key

The 2nd to last character is an I as in Indigo, not a lower case L

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community...

We are only users here and have no insight into your serial #.  Are you 100% sure you requested Revit 2017 and not Revit 2018?  These message always indicate you requested something and downloaded something else.

Sorry to hear you are having an issue with your serial number & product key. Make sure you are typing the serial # & product key in the fields not copy pasting it in the field. You should receive green check marks next to the fields.

Have you resolved this issue? It sounds like you receive an invalid serial number or that you can not see the serial number in your account now. In any case if you have not resolved this you can also try going to your Educational account & selecting the "ALL PRODUCT" on the left panel of the site, select from the drop downs as if you were going to download it. Then serial number will appear.
