First, the installation log file will definitely help us help you... as @natasha.l stated
Secondly, Are you a user or an IT person? When troubleshooting installation issues (with any application), it's ALWAYS (Second nature) recommended to disable the Antivirus software. If it was network or internet related then turn off the firewall. That's IT101 right next to "Try rebooting the machine" & "Are you sure the monitor is plugged in" - Sorry couldn't resists 
Also, you may want to try downloading the software from the Autodesk Virtual Agent then run the installation.
- Once there, use Download Links and navigate to the application you need to download.
NOTE: If there are multiple parts for the download, you'll need to click each part to download them, once they are downloaded double-click Part1 (which will automatically extract the remaining parts) to begin the installation.
